Grants, A Taste of Excellence...

Grants is a much loved, popular restaurant in Omagh, located in Georges Street that I have absolutely adored since I was young. It is the definition of class and is a very popular spot within Omagh. As I walked in, I was greeted with the warmth within the place while also being greeted by a lovely waitress named Vikki. While our table was being prepared, she kindly seated us in the lounge area and presented the drinks menu. After browsing the selection, I chose the house red wine, Tank 32 Primitivo, a rich, velvety red that paired perfectly with my main course. Despite not being a regular red wine drinker, I was pleasantly surprised by its bold yet smooth flavor. The wine elevated the entire experience, adding a touch of elegance to the evening. Nature and Co

Nature and Co

Nature and Co is a much loved hidden gem from my hometown, Omagh and is very popular among the locals. It is very famous for it’s iconic and tasty açai bowls and toasties, along with their delicious coffee.

Whether you're stopping in for a catch-up with friends or grabbing a quick bite after a training session, Nature and Co is perfect for a healthy lunch or a relaxed coffee break. it is based in youthsport, where there are many facilities such as a GAA pitch, a soccer pitch, running tracks and more, so it's great for a post work-out pick me up. The menu items make it a favourite among fitness enthusiasts and just casual visitors.

It has charming rustic and modern decor, and can definitely be seen as an “instagram friendly’ worthy atmosphere as you will be able to see in the photos I have inserted. It is a perfect spot to take photos of your food to share and is very aesthetically pleasing. The staff are lovely and welcoming and have top notch  service, making the visit enjoyable.

During my latest visit, I had treated myself to the famous ‘acai bowl’, which includes the acai, peanut butter, chia seeds, banana, strawberries, blueberries and granola. It is definitely a healthy, filling meal but also a flavourful one. Whether you are looking for a nutrient packed breakfast or refreshing snack, this bowl hits the spot everytime.

If you are ever in Omagh, Nature and Co is a must visit, whether its for a quick coffee or a bite to eat, it has something anyone can enjoy.
